Auto Ownership
Available in GTAModel V4.1.0
Once the Driver License model has been calibrated the next step is to calibrate the auto ownership model. Documentation for the model itself can be found here. A constant can be added at the planning district level, where a positive number will increase the probability that a higher number of cars will be allocated to the households.
You can find the auto ownership model at Household Loader/Auto Ownership Model
. Within the module
you can increase or decrease the number of vehicles created by creating or modifying the modules within
the Constants
module list. Each of these modules has six parameters.
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Constant | A constant applied to the binary logit |
Planning Districts | The planning districts to select if the person lives in the given home zone |
Threshold1 Offset | An offset to the threshold for a house owning 1 vehicle |
Threshold2 Offset | An offset to the threshold for a house owning 2 vehicles |
Threshold3 Offset | An offset to the threshold for a house owning 3 vehicles |
Threshold4 Offset | An offset to the threshold for a house owning 4 vehicles |
The results of the auto ownership model can be found in the Microsim data within the Households table.
