Eric Miller, Director

Eric Miller is a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Toronto. He has B.A.Sc. and M.A.Sc. degrees from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. from M.I.T. Prof. Miller is Chair of the Transportation Research Board Committee on Travel Behavior and Values and past-Chair of the International Association for Travel Behaviour Research. His research interests include: urban activity/travel modelling; integrated land use - transportation modelling; analysis of urban form - travel behaviour interactions; modelling transportation system energy use and emissions; and microsimulation modelling.

He currently walks to work.

Monika Nasterska, Network Modeller

Responsible for consolidating transportation network data; analysis and testing of travel assignment simulation procedures (road and transit); EMME tool development; support for research data requests.

She currently cycles to work.

James Vaughan, Model System Designer/Programmer

james.vaughan at utoronto.ca

James is responsible for the architecture, development and maintenance of TMG’s programs, including XTMF, GTAModel and other model systems. In addition he develops other tools, and provides programming support for students. James graduated from the University of Toronto with his H.B.sc (Computer Science, Software Engineering) in 2008.

He currently takes local transit to work.
